Spoilerish but not detailed spoilers ahead. It's not often you get a spicy romance, monster or otherwise, with a fat protagonist who is just fine with her body as it is, thank you very much. It was a real treat to follow Ashley's journey into the fae realm of the Orcs learning to control her newly discovered magic. It was especially nice that the reason her grumpy moon-bound husband initially was disappointed in her had nothing to do with her body and everything to do with her magic, and even that he learned to appreciate.
