Secondborn

More like 3.5.
I loved the first half of this but then a declaration of love that came seemingly out of nowhere made things a little 'meh' for me. I was really feeling some chemistry between the characters and would've liked more of a buildup. I also didn't like the one year later jump. Next book needs more Agent Crow. This book gave me vibes from other books, including The Shatter Me series and The Hunger Games, which isn't a bad thing but just something I noticed.
