Okay, so this book was just alright. I enjoyed it for the most part, but I can't say that everything made sense. It is the first book in a series, so maybe it's not all clear because of that? I did like the main characters. I was happy to discover that they weren't just idly sitting by and believing everything about being a chosen few. But, they still have no idea if they are on the good side of bad side. And to be truthful, neither am I. It's quite possible that they organization that they are with is a little of bother. The story is full of adventure and a lot of near death/ past-death-but-magically-brought-back-to-life esacpades. There is the mystery and codes that need to be solved. I didn't enjoy it as much as I hoped that I would, but enjoyed it enough to continue on with the series at some point.
