I love a good Apocalypse book. Especially something so well based on what will probably happen with global warming. I also love spicy stories and sailing books. So I am very happy about the Thalassic series. Bird is a gem, her mistakes are very real, and I looove her dreams, wink-wink.  Also, her love interest is far from perfect, thank god. We need to stop worshipping men in books. Let's have real people with real issues besides the "I am too tough to speak about my feelings" vibes. And what can I say about Malarkey? SUCH A GOOD GIRL.

Sometimes it felt funny how the ocean seemed a little too small -
how the hell did the Savage crew find Bird on that island? </spoler>.

I know this book has a young adult and a new adult version, the second one with spicy scenes, but for now, here on the site, it looks a little confusing. I read the new adult version.
