This book made me smile! There are so many characters to love in this book, and love is indeed a big theme in there. We follow Juliet as she comes to terms with what it means to be a brown queer woman, finding people who help her learn to accept and love herself.
I particularly loved the art style as well, full of soft lines and warm colours.
The only negative point for me was that the narration and transitions from one scene to another were sometimes hard to follow, but that might come from the fact that this comic was adapted from a novel, and stories don't always translate the same in these two medias. Still an excellent read overall!

Moderate: Biphobia, Homophobia, Racism, and Sexual assault
Minor: Toxic relationship
Even though these elements are present in the story, they are adressed as such in a way that is positive and affirming for the main character, towards whom most of them happen, and they do not detract from the hopeful tone of the story.
