The problem with this story for me is that I love Percy and wish her nothing but the best and I really can’t bring myself to like Selene. At all.
I get that she is royalty and a badass, but the way she treated Percy (especially in the beginning but it didn’t get much better in my opinion) makes me want to throw my kindle across the room. She makes me madder than Edward Cullen did in Twilight and that was some serious anger.
I really don’t know if I’ll read the next one. I don’t know if I can handle seeing Percy take more of this treatment from Selene when she deserves so much better.
