Ok I love Ashley James. And every time I read one of her books I think it’s my favorite. So guess what? THIS IS ABSOLUTELY MY NEW FAVORITE.
I don’t even know where to start. Like there’s the hot AF cattle rancher with the adorable kid (and I don’t even like single dad trope usually!) He’s dating a girl who has a twin. Enter Ash, the twin who never gets chosen. City boy who needs a change in his life, but never expected Finn.
These two have so much chemistry, you feel it in the first interaction. Like there was no way they were staying away from each other. At all. Finn thinks he’s straight, Ash shows him that he is absolutely not. Like he loves the D. Ash’s D specifically.
When you get to the good stuff, the fu*k it moment? Dear god it’s so good. Ashley knows how to write a scene ok, but these were top freaking tier. Every time they were together you felt the connection, you knew there was no way this wasn’t an HEA.
I could go on so much more, but bottom line is you NEED to read this. Especially if you’ve loved her other cowboys in Copper Lake.
