booktrovertgirl 's review for:
The Night Before
by Wendy Walker
'The Night Before' is a psychological thriller with a lot of twists. The story starts off with Laura going on a date with a guy and not coming back. Her sister, Rosa, tries to find Laura, and in the process discovers a lot of secrets.
The alternate timelines and point of views add to the allure of the book and keep the mystery alive.
The story had a lot of twists and turns, which is a good thing because if you are a good guesser you'd have a lot of fun. The last major twist did not feel *TOO* major to me but it tied up the story together. It was a fast paced thriller, and its perfect as a thriller read - keeps you turning the pages and makes you excited to guess the twists.
READ IT WHEN: You're in the mood for a fast paced mystery thriller.
