Bill Bailey's Remarkable Guide to Happiness by Bill Bailey
5.0
A book you pick up and an excellent pick me up.
We all experience a gamut of emotions as we journey through life. At times sad, sullen, and lost, others buoyant, enthusiastic and happy. Can we distill happiness to key constituents? Perhaps, though one person's happiness is another's 'meh', to use an oft said youth-ism.
Bill Bailey's book is a gentle meander along the flowing river of happiness, with short, insightful and often very funny observations on everything that breeds happiness in his life. From music to cycling, facing fears to learning a language, there is much to enjoy, muse upon and appreciate in Bill Bailey's writing.
Did reading it make me feel happy? Absolutely, and I recommend reading it for the very same reason.
