Just Kids by Patti Smith
3.0

Apparently I met Patti smith when I was younger?? Anyways I liked all the stories about New York City in the 70’s. I think I don’t like it more because I don’t really know anything about Patti smith but I could still appreciate the relationship she was writing about and all the growing up she did in this story.
Favorite quotes:

“‘I stand naked when I draw. God holds my hand and we sing together.’”

“Where does it all lead? What will become of us? These were our young questions, and young answers were revealed. It leads to each other. We become ourselves.”
