I Who Have Never Known Men
by Jacqueline Harpman
Very drawn on slow and boring book that could have been a short story to the same effect.
It's supposed to be philosophical I think but really didn't hit the mark as I had no idea what the point was supposed to be. I wish I didn't finish but I was hopeful maybe there would be something enlightening at the end.
The afterword was all I needed to read and wish I hadn't wasted my time.
Definitely not for me. Kind of like when you go to the museum and see a deconstructed BBQ on the floor and it's supposed to be modern art that attracts crowds of pretenti us people who claim they are more cultured or well read.
