I wanted to like this book so badly, given the concept was absolutely amazing. However, I found McAllister's writing to be subpar at best. By page 200, I was ready for the book to end, and wanted to cry, cry, cry (this book is FILLED to the brim with repetition like this- and none of it is effective) when I still had 200 pages left. Great idea, poor execution. I'm not sure I could recommend.
