this was wonderfully weird!
this author sure loves her rollercoasters— it shows through her writing, and the relationship emory (coaster engineer) and lorelei (coaster lover and theme park admin) have with them. at times, i couldn’t connect. i love a coaster, but not on the level that was discussed, which is where i encountered the “weird”.
i liked this new adventure i was invited on with the setting being a theme park rather than just small town. it felt new and was not repetitive in the romance genre.
less than loves:
-third act break up. it was brief but BOOO
-HURT when their dirt was told to the entire town through the gossipy newspaper
