This is one of my all time favorite Mafia reads!! I’ve read it multiple times and it’s always good!
Luca and Haven were written in the stars...or blood, whichever you prefer, but either way, they are meant to be together! The book begins which a cold slap of mafia reality, but that’s what I love about mafia romances, is that they are mafia books too, is the dark side.
Luca leaves Haven for two years, with no explanation or anything, and for two years, Haden believes he’s gone, until he comes back to say that they are going to be married...talk about a shock, but also, o my goodness, he loves her that much that he arranged a marriage contract for her?! I love Luca!
Heaven is stubborn at first, because she’s still hurting at Luca leaving her two years ago. She’s determined to be strong and not want him, but she can’t deny their chemistry or the attraction to each other.
But outside forces are at work, and something is working to keep them apart, or at least trying to. Luca and Haven were written in the stars, and nothing is going to keep them from being together!
