Set in the dark and sultry world of Port Macabre amid the secret society known as the Anguis, Vengeful God is the epitome of dark romance. It’s hot, it’s gritty, the enemies-to-lovers revenge romance featuring three ruthless, morally grey, poly love interests was enthralling, and the suspenseful plot featured breath-taking twists and spice. I felt a strong connection to all four MCs—FMC Foxglove and MMCs Thorne, Kyron, and Raven—and I appreciated the thought and care put into their individual experiences and journeys. The intense physical chemistry between the MCs encouraged each of these strong, fierce individuals to be vulnerable in ways they’d never truly allowed themselves to be in such a cutthroat, vicious world, and the romance that develops or, in the cases of the MMCs, expands and deepens, was deeply emotional. Someone better grab a mop and a bucket because I have MELTED into a swoony puddle of feels! I’ll definitely be obsessed with these four MCs for years to come.
