I wanted to 'take the piss' for the hell of it and give this book a one star as well, but...
It fucked me and my head on so many levels and I went through hell during the past few days reading these books! I skipped a few chapters, only reading some dialogues because my heart couldn't take the stress and anxiety and pain!
Level of stress for the duration of reading this series? High as a motherfuck!
There was nothing good about this series! Seriously! Abuse, rape, head fucks, games, hurt, so much fucking pain, breakdowns, and all the wrong things in the world!
But, the fact that through all this hell and shit I actually kept on reading, willing to know the end, needing to know what happens to these guys that I actually fell in love with. And that, is a skill not all authors have!
So kudos to Jack! Not for the head fucks, because seriously right now I think I need to see a "Halliday" myself now, but for a great style in writing in this series.
