I feel quite conflicted in how I feel about this story.

Going to start with the ending without getting into spoilers. The ending confused the hell outta me. I think this is a book I'm going to reread next year (2025) and see how I feel about it then. I wonder if things will stick and make more sense to me then.

This book appeared appealing to me due to the formatting of the book. In case you haven't seen an actual page of it: picture House of Leaves but more mild...as in not as many 'funky' pages.

This story felt like - ... a rambling that then lead to a story. Often the main character goes into religious ramblings. I think the meaning was lost on me because of various reasons I won't go into. But this is another reason why I think if I do a reread more will make sense later.

The first few pages were an immediate hook! It leaves you curious and filled with questions you're seeking clear answers to. I liked how this book kept me wanting to read it. Even if I was confused I felt like reading it constantly because who know what I'd read next.

I'm gonna end it here and hopefully update next year in my reread!
