Defy the Stars
by Claudia Gray
This was an easy and enjoyable read
The sci-fi was light and the romance was also light with a few romance tropes that had me cheesing while still enjoying it.
The were a lot of things that had me rolling my eyes like how convenient a lot of things were; them getting help everywhere they go, that whole prison scenario, how quickly it takes people to travel to literal planets, how easy it is for them to hack everything, etc. Sometimes I can suspend my disbelief or even shun them completely but there has to be something I love a lot. But it this, my love was very average.

I did not mean I would die for you because you’re human. I mean I would die for you because I love you. (Pg 468)
