“Little tornado”

This was so fun! The pacing is good and there are short chapters (the way to my heart).

I loved the banter between the villain and Evie (I cackled so many times) - this is such a giggling and kicking your feet book.

The found family between the characters made my heart warm - Kingsley the frog, blade, Becky, the villain and Evie are some of my favourite characters I’ve read about.

Evie as a character is so me: she is me and I am her. I also love the villain - we all love a bit of morally grey don’t we? The tender moments between them are so fleeting but gorgeous and I can’t wait to see how their story develops throughout the series.

The atmosphere and energy was so cosy, and Hannah found such a perfect balance between high action and silly moments.

I also appreciate how the book dealt with serious topics such as SA and female oppression.
