A Single Shard by Linda Sue Park

3.0

A decent book, but too short to pack much of a punch. I'm glad I finally read it, though, since it was on my middle school reading list 1000 years ago (or however long it's been sixth grade) and the only book I didn't read that year.

The relationships were decently well rounded, and the descriptions of the pottery were beautiful, but the plot took a little too long to kick off in such a short book and the conclusion was wrapped up way too quickly.
