I would've loved it had it been more poetic. it became increasingly plot-led in the middle and towards the end rather than focusing on the personal journey of Constance, likely because of the introduction of several imp characters.

I would've liked a more haunting prose, this just read like a brooding, paternalistic man with some toxic house rules ordering you around for centuries. I would've preferred reading more about Dracula's slow unraveling of being a true monster—aka and abuser in the realest sense.
