A secret is a strange thing.
I have no words - this series has a grip on me and I'm completely okay with that.
It's so easy for the second book in a series to fail to deliver after a phenomenal start to a series, but it absolutely wasn't the case here! I adored all of the characters, even more so than in book 1; Ronan was the standout character. Blue and Gansey's relationship was immaculate, and I can already tell there'll be so much yearning on the horizon, which I'm buckled in for.
The only thing that didn't sit so well with me was Blue's internalised misogyny. I'm hopeful that'll change over the coming books.
Graphic: Drug abuse, Drug use, Violence
Moderate: Child abuse, Homophobia, Kidnapping
Minor: Suicide attempt, Death of parent, Murder
