Gramma by Gale Garnett, Stephen King

4.0

This gave me major shivers in the best way! The perfect blend of witchcraft, horror, and mystery. The story being told from the POV of a child is clearly a technique that Stephen King excels at which makes it even more terrifying for the reader when we start to see a child is in REAL danger but who's concerns are being brushed off as fantasy by adults.

The ending in particular is what makes this a 4 star read for me and what will make me remember it. It gave me that spine tingling feeling at the end when I realised the full implications of what had happened and that's exactly what I want from a short horror story.
