Logan's Run by George Clayton Johnson, William F. Nolan

1.0

I've got the book as it was mentioned in an article about another book. Well, you know the drill: one cannot have an opinion without at least trying to read the above mentioned book.

This turned to be more then a disappointment - this is an absolute example of time lost.

The book is boring. The plot is too simplified and lacks inner logic. The heroes are flat (Logan among them) and uninspiring. Even though the book is very short (well, it has this one virtue), it took an enormous amount of willpower to finish it.

If you're looking to read about a dystopian society with voluntary euthanasia, look for "The Bull's Hour" by Ivan Yefremov.
