I thought this was a cute sapphic romance, with well-developed characters. I liked how we did get to see how Murphy dealt with her own personal problems and her friendship with her best friend evolving. I do wish we got a little bit more of the actual romance, though, because it didn’t feel like it got the chance to develop very much. Also, while the fake dating trope often doesn’t really make sense, the way this one was set up, felt like it made less sense.
