Re-read this young adult book as an adult as I have fond memories of reading in my teens. The book is showing it's age with references to technology and lives slightly outdated but not yet retro or old-fashioned. Still deals with timeless emotions and relationship problems of young adults. Some lovely images Linda Newbery creates with her words. An enjoyable read and would recommend to young adults. However, second time around I still found the ending disappointing and abrupt.
