It's "Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close" meets "The Elegance of the Hedgehog," as written by a very proper English-style Christopher Moore. I haven't enjoyed a protagonist as much since Scout Finch. I listened to the audiobook, and the narration is pitch-perfect. My favorite book in avery long time.
