Heart of Darkness
by Joseph Conrad
It was captivating and meditative, as well as reflective and sarcastic. I loved the foreshadowing and the way the narrative unfolded, but at leaves you in a limbo, quite confused and hopeless, no easy answers nor a clear moral judgement, nor a resolution. but I appreciated the theme of the complexity of being repulsed yet captivated by great human evil and darkness.
