Hit and Run by Lori Matthews

3.0

I received an ARC of this book from the publisher in exchange for a review.

Hit and Run is the third standalone novel in the author’s Callahan Security series. In this book, Gage is back in the US and frustrated as hell after running around Europe in the fruitless search for a computer programmer who he was assigned to protect...only to find out she’d been hiding out in Alaska the entire time. Computer programmer and hacker extraordinaire Dani considers the dark web to be her second home, but she realizes she’s in too deep when multiple attempts are made on her life. Dani begrudgingly accepts Gage’s help when it becomes clear to her that without him, there’s no chance that she’ll make it out alive when she heads to New York to deliver her cutting-edge facial recognition software. Their alpha personalities clash and the chemistry between them grows as they try to make it to New York in one piece.

I do love me an enemies-to-lovers “ohh nooo there’s only one bed so I guess we’ll have to share
