3.0
• third act breakup
• S.T.E.M. i.e. both are physicists
• rivals to lovers
• fake dating but not in the way you’d think
Okay my noggin already froths at the mouth for a lorge blonde tree trunk of a man and when you throw in the pretty eyes and quirky iykyk tattoos I absolutely loose my collective shït but I could not stop seeing the parallels of Adam and I don’t think I’ve read the live hypothesis in at least a year. Like their similarities and caveman tendencies are a bit too close and kind of congealed the two stories together. I did subconsciously switch jacks name to Levi midway through the book but that’s just my dory brain.
Jacks dialogue was a lot more quotable and had more aww moments than the rest of the hazelwood men which I did appreciate.
The twilight bits did bump the book up for me. The mini olive and adam cameo was fun and there’s a brief mention of bee.
