Counting the Cost by Jill Duggar

I appreciate Jenna Duggar at least naming that IBLP breeds parents who abuse and control, and sharing her story, even if overall I can't relate to her fame, the support she had from her husband in the process of leaving the cult, her continued respect for her parents, and still being a conservative Christian. Especially appreciate her description of the absolute paralyzing fear of God in the form of her parents, and so many other things she recognized she was "hard wired" for, including not sharing her feelings, not questioning beliefs or authority figures, feeling overly responsible for her parents' and family's wellbeing instead of her own, being terrified of public schoolers, DFACS, drinking, birth control, worldly women who wore revealing clothing, pants, nose rings, tattoos, that only her family, believing IBLP had the best way to live,  etc etc
