Adequate Yearly Progress would be hilarious, if only it wasn’t so true. It’s a fictional look at a year in one high school through the personal and professional lives of several teachers. A year rife with educational consultants with no practical experience, an endless sea of meaningless paperwork, the latest ever changing fads and buzzwords, self-serving politicians and superintendents, pointless tasks getting in the way of teaching time… the list goes on. A depressing satire which would make anyone wary of the public school system but feel for the teachers.
