So, this was another hot book with some frustrating, some expected, some annoying and some hot attributes. So, when you have a book that illicits all of that, you can't go wrong, right? RIGHT.
I was truly frustrated at throughout the first 35% of the book that Ava had all of this wonderfully witty and deep inner dialogue but she only muttered two to three word responses to Jesse. Ugh, he's supposedly dying to be with the woman of few words on some deep level? I wasn't buying it.
The whole instant attraction that leads to hot sex and then some sort of deep love is often a bit unbelievable. In this case I was beginning to think that was what was going on here too, but as the book progresses the reader learns that it's all because of what's going on the part of Jesse's life that we can't see...it's an ah ha moment.
I'm a real sucker for the Brits and this book truly fed my obsession for them...so much great wit!
This was a solid book and I truly enjoyed it. I needed a vat of ice cubes the entire time I was reading it though, so HAWT! I just can't believe that I have to wait for book 2! But, I will be happily devour that when it arrives!
