A Memoir of the Warsaw Uprising by Miron Białoszewski, Madeline G. Levine

adventurous challenging emotional tense medium-paced

4.0

Really unique book and fascinating read. Written through the lens of memory in a rambling fashion that becomes coherent after you get used to the style. It’s chaotic and meandering, but such were the times of the Warsaw Uprising. Would not recommend this as a casual read, as it is quite involved and intense. Highly recommended to readers of world war two history looking to expand their knowledge of Poland and Warsaw.
