This was really good. When I started it, I wasn't sure I was in the mood for WASP antics - but it was beautifully written, somewhat searing emotionally, and the characters were really engaging. Loved the way the narrative unfolded, with jumping back in time versus present day. So much trauma - at its root, this was a book about the trauma life inflicts upon women again and again and again.
