See Me After Class by Meghan Quinn

emotional funny hopeful lighthearted medium-paced

3.0

Look, I almost DNF’d this, but I DNF’d the last Meghan Quinn book I picked up and I really did not want to DNF two books in a row from the same author. So, here we are.

Greer’s behavior in the beginning was unprofessional and immature. For that alone, she probably deserved to be fired. I also felt like Arlo’s backstory fell apart. Once he and Greer were together, they were really together and the relationship lost its dimension, and we lost the opportunity to discover why Arlo is the way he is. It was all just glazed over and it seemed like a missed opportunity to add depth to the story.

Overall, this was fine, but I don’t think I’ll be continuing this series.
