12 Rules for Life: An Antidote to Chaos by Jordan B. Peterson

2.0

Got half way through before I had to end this. There are some great tidbits of advice, ie work on developing yourself, give yourself the same level of care that you'd give a loved one etc - but it's cometely drowned by long winded pseudo intellectual bullshit and endless, endless bible references. Maybe JP should have taken his own advice about "being precise in your speech".

I read this because I wanted to see why he was so controversial. I can see why, as his views on gender roles seem to be stuck in the 1950s.

If anyone so much as criticises JP in a review it's usually followed by more than a few comments from his fans calling the reviewer a "stupid triggered feminist snowflake" and so on.

Save yourself hours of time by reading the 12 points in the outline on the book's Wikipedia page.
