I really wanted to love this book and was expecting to after reading the prologue. But it was so slow to get to the actual slashing and even that had almost no tension or urgency. It felt like it just happened like a passing breeze. The writing style also didn’t click with me. There were times where I was utterly confused on how a conclusion was drawn or how a scene played out, and it left me with so many unanswered questions.
