holy … i don’t have WORDS! kristin hannah knows how to do it. this was such an intense read. the connection leni had with her mom was so beautiful. the time jumps were perfectly timed. lots of crazy moments i was on the edge of my seat. i laughed i cried etc …. fuck ERNT! all of the alaskan characters were so loveable and the 70s time period post vietnam was so chaotic i learned a lot
