As the final curtain closes on this amazing series, I’m left in happy, nostalgic tears as I recall the many scenes of friendship, teamwork, camaraderie, and sexy swoon -worthy moments which left me both panting,and begging for more.
Leo Hernandez is such a stand-up hero, always striving to improve himself, prove his worth and show those around him what he has to offer, both on the field, and off.
A man so dedicated to achieving greatness deserved a heroine who could withstand scrutiny,and match the fierceness with which he attacks each challenge life brings him:
Enter Mary.
For all of her bluntness, she has the sweetest, soft edges. Projecting confidence when all you’d like to do is crumble under pressure takes a depth of character, and Mary brings that in spades. I loved her descent into vulnerability, and the self awareness she steps into after life throws her curveball after curveball. We see her fight tooth and nail to independently make a life and career for herself, and her determination was so admirable and inspiring.
Leo brings out another level of faith and confidence in Mary, and their development and chemistry was off the charts!
Being seen is, at times, so much harder than being invisible.
Watching Leo fight for the same girl he unknowingly rejected in the past was beautiful, and I loved seeing Mary being loved in all the ways she needed to be shown affection and loyalty.
These two are gonna stand the test of time, I just know it! Fantastic story, loved it!!
