What an interesting concept this novel is... odd yet compelling
When the story first changed from Abigail's perspective to the detective-led locked room murder mystery, I was annoyed. Initially, I was confused by the sudden change in reality, and then I was irritated by the almost-jarring meta fourth wall breaks. However, I finished the book the day after my grandfather passed away, and I found myself appreciating the exploration of Abigail's grief.
