3.0

I feel bad to give it 3 stars, because I absolutely loved the series and the characters and I gave it 3 stars only for Cardan, but that 3.5 volume was not for me.
I didn’t like the illustrations very much, I don’t think they represented the character Cardan as he is (or maybe the way I portrayed him).
For me, it didn’t show too much why Cardan is the way that he is, the aspects from his life that made him this cruel boy were told briefly and quickly, as small details. I feel like it didn’t say something new, something that wasn’t already mentioned in the previous volumes…
And the thing that really disappointed me was that the relationship between Jude and Cardan was approximately absent in the book. I wanted to see more of Cardan’s perspective about their relationship.
