This Business of Living: Diaries 1935-1950 by Cesare Pavese

2.0

A lot of misogyny in a single book (or rather, a single life). And the funny thing is, it’s the kind of misogyny (the worst kind) that is the byproduct of a fragile, rejected, self-deprecating, narcissistic ego. Dude shut up.

Though I was intrigued by the abundance of suicidal thoughts, which is of interest to myself, and therefore the two stars.
