I do not know how to write a review for this book. I just put it down and my eyes are blodshot and my emotions are all over the place.

First of all, I want to say that Fredrick Backman's writing style is something so utterly special I wish I had even a little bit of it. It fits perfectly with the books and stories he writes and it fits perfectly with this whole series. It's probably one of the reasons why they do so well, why these books are so good, because the way they are written is just how they need to be written for the story to be told correctly. I don't know any other author who writes that way, and I'm not sure whether I wish there were more so I could read all their books, or if I want Backman to just have this one special thing about his books because I really don't think anyone can do it as well as he does.

As for the story contained within these pages, I have no words. It's tense, it's sad, it's happy, it's emotional, it's violent, it's funny, it's everything all at once. There are so many points during this book where I didn't want to continue reading because I never wanted it to end, but I had to turn the page because I had to know what happens next.

This will probably be the biggest book hangover I have ever had, just because I absolutely loved this book so much and I don't know if I want to read anything again if it isn't as good and doesn't have me crying so that my mom laughs at me during the end.

For the love of God, if you haven't read any of the books in this trilogy, pick them all up right this second and do yourself a favor. Missing out on these books is not worth it. Backman just has a thing for being able to write humans and all their flaws in a way that we can't help but love them, and therefore these books as a result.

I promise you, if you pick up any book, you're not going to be able to put it down again. In both the best and worst way possible.
