I should know better by now to not read these kinds of books but I was curious and wanted to try something new and everyone was hyping it up. It was awful. Take this review with a grain of salt: I don’t read romances a lot of but I seem to be picking them up more and more so maybe this would be better for someone who really enjoys the genre but there’s literally no plot or character development. Every action that could instigate some kind of consequence (and therefore plot) for the characters is immediately solved and they go back to effing each other, which is like every chapter. I got so tired of them having sex all the time I was screaming at my phone “Please stop!” The only good thing about it was I listened to the audiobook, which is how I managed to get through all of that. The narrators did such a great job keeping a straight face and not just giving up halfway through with some of the writing and dialogue.
