I was so afraid of reading this books because of the end of Glow and Raven Kennedy rewarded me with an even worse ending ! (Worse in the sense that this cliffhanger breaks my heart even more).
A lot happened in this book and I don’t even know how to process most of it.
Slade’s chapters we’re my favorite because they were just so satisfying in their savagery and feralness. He was simply perfect and I loved how we, as readers, got to release a lot of frustration through him.
I loved Malina’s redemption and romance in this book.
I had hoped that Auren might get an easier time in this book but Kennedy really wants to wait until the very last second apparently.
I guessed a few of the plot twists but I still enjoyed every single page of this book.
At this point, I am just glad I didn’t read Gold when it came out in December because now I get to wait *only* four months for Goldfinch.
