A very interesting book with a lot of imperfect characters and complicated relationship. The main character was hard to relate to for me but so interesting to follow and see how the hardships of her life has formed her. No characters in the story are good but that is also what makes the story fascinating. There are lot if description of violence and racism. The story is very dark and negative in tone. I liked it but weren't fully invested. Will probably think about this story for a while.
