WHEW! Where do I begin? I think I finally found exactly what I was looking for. Though the characters in this book are morally ambiguous, it surrounds the storyline and their desires rather than them having, say a problematic age gap. This book was written exactly for its audience, and I loved every single second of it. Shout out to the audio narrators; they were some of the best I've heard so far.
At first I was a bit concerned about the trigger warnings but most of them are off book mentions to things that happened to the characters. Still it’s dark romance through and through don’t be mistaken.
The writing is as spicy as it is witty (which is a lot) and will make you confused about how a man who quite literally is a walking red flag makes you want him to show up at your door in the middle of the night.
I cannot wait for the next book in the series.. Give me 20.
Also… Fred ❤️
