The One
by Kiera Cass
I’m obviously the odd one out here - but this was my least favorite book of the series.
America is an AWFUL main character. I can’t stand her. She was so wishy washy & could not commit to Maxon. It drove me insane. The miscommunication in this book was almost too much for me to handle. I felt like so many problems could’ve been avoided soooooo easily if people could’ve just communicated. America and Maxon gave me whiplash the entire book - they were either obsessed with each other or hated each other & would go back and forth SO easily.
The Aspen and America story line was a whole other situation that I don’t even feel like getting into lol.
It was completely obvious what was going to happen in this book - so why did 70% of it feel like filler?? Also it felt like a Grey’s Anatomy season finale because in the last 100 pages I swear like 10 people died. & for WHAT?
I know this book is YA, but I really did like the first two books so I was disappointed that this one didn’t live up to my expectations.
