hikachi 's review for:
The Warlock
by Michael Scott
I've been waiting for this book after I heard about the release information a few months back. I even managed to 'tricked' a friend to read the whole series. Anyway, as the puzzle pieces started to fall in. Somehow, this book was like a filler episode in a currently running anime.
Yes, it has details on what will happen and why, but as it weaves the story to keep going on. I felt like I read an intermission, instead of a new act. Dee has convinced Josh to separate from Sophie, and looks like he's attracted with Ms. Dare.
The witch of Endor roused her dear Husband, Mars Ultor. While Scatath, Joan and some other 'friends' were landed in Danu Talis, before it fell. And Sophie helped Perenelle to extend Nicholas' life a bit longer for their last stand.
The surprise in the last chapter supported my thought that it's just an intermission.
Now I can't wait for the next book to come. Will it be another intermission or a new act.
